First DJ experience was at a Silver Jubilee Street Party (changing records on the record player) in 1977. First real experience was at University mid 1980's, first doing Hall Discos, then Loughborough Campus Radio, then a weekly Jazz (and Soul) night (Thursday) and an Indie/Dance night (Friday). Was a regular at the Burnley & Pendle Soul Club and did spots there in the mid-late 1980's, and did the same at the Carlton Club, Normanton in the early 90's. Now doing a weekly Soul and Reggae show (Northern, 6T's, Ska, Rocksteady, Skinhead Reggae) for Phoenix FM (www.phoenixfm.co.uk) at midnight (UK local) Thursday night into Friday morning.
